Our Richmond based client is looking for a high energy Administrative Assistant to work with the CEO and the senior management team.  Someone who can work independently and shows intiative in all that they do will excel in this role.  This position is very diverse and requires someone who can multi-task and prioritize their own work load.  The incumbent is leaving at the end of the month so we are interested in hearing from people who are available to start work immediately.

Key Duties include:

  • Primary administrative person within an office with 25 staff
  • Answering telephones and greeting visitors/guests
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Coordinating building maintenance
  • Providing Executive support to the CEO (schedules, correspondence etc.)
  • Making travel arrangements for the CEO and Executive Managers (4)
  • Contributing to HR efforts including records upkeep, document updating, activity planning, etc.

  • Exceptionally professional with outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with superior multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and memory skills
  • Conscientious, takes initiative, and exercises good judgment, and common sense
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Outgoing and personable
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must have own vehicle

Education and experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 2+  years experience in an Administrative or Executive support position

Additional Qualifications:

  • Fluency in the French language is an asset
