Our client, The BC Dental Association, is the recognized voice of dentistry in British Columbia; dedicated to serving the interests of its members and promoting oral health within the province.
The Manager, Corporate Communications & Public Affairs provides primary support on corporate communications and media strategy, planning and response to optimize the reputation of the dental profession and strategic goals of the Association.
Reporting to the Director, Marketing, Communications & Member Education; the Manager oversees the production of all publications including those on social media platforms, supports the Executive office and the Board in issues management and through media relations, is responsible for developing and managing public education programs, and serves as primary staff liaison and staff support to committees and task forces as assigned.
We are seeking candidates with an undergraduate degree in Communications, Business Administration or equivalent and a minimum of 7 years corporate communications experience with increasing responsibilities; preferably in a professional association.
