Our client, the BC Dental Association, is the recognized voice of dentistry in British Columbia; dedicated to serving the interests of its members and promoting oral health within the province.
The Program Production Coordinator collaborates with a variety of staff, leaders and external stakeholders; working within approved budgets to produce communications, member programs and events to positively position the Association with its members, stakeholders and external audiences.
Reporting to the Director – Communications & Member Education, the coordinator produces and implements member education, member engagement and outreach program components, executing all the details for successful delivery of programs and events and is responsible for assisting with the production and delivery of a multiplicity of presentation formats to provide online and in-person member education courses and BCDA-hosted web and in-person events.
We are seeking candidates with an undergraduate degree or diploma in communications, marketing, graphic production or related discipline and a minimum of 3 years project production and delivery experience, preferably in a non-profit, health or professional association environment. Proficiency in AV and event production including video production/photography as well as experience using content management software to update websites, are essential. We’re looking for a sharp eye for detail, a high degree of organizational capabilities, a creative mind and superior presentation skills. The expectation of a professional level of personal attributes is a given; maturity, high emotional intelligence, a track record of building and maintaining good working relationships, initiative and drive balanced by poise and diplomacy.
In addition to a competitive compensation and benefits package, our client offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work with a talented, educated and creative group of colleagues and member professionals. The work will be challenging with both cyclical and emerging/urgent issues to be handled – yet rewarding and self-satisfying – in an innovative environment committed to delivering excellent standards and being ahead of the curve.
We thank all interested applicants but only those selected for interview will be contacted.
