Our client is seeking a senior executive leader with extensive experience in managing a multi-million-dollar complex organization and is open to considering candidates from outside the corrections/enforcement domain such as hospitality, healthcare, military base or plant/mining operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for strategically leading a large and diverse team of over 150 staff in a unionized setting and will be challenged with the creation of a vision and a dynamic work culture that reflects a focus on creating a safe, appealing and supportive workplace where staff is competent, empowered, engaged and encouraged to participate in the positive growth of the organization. The position leads province-wide projects, initiatives, innovative programs and operational issues which contribute to the quality and efficiency of the center’s management.
We are seeking a business focused individual with at least 5 years of senior management experience who will bring integrity, honesty and exemplary leadership skills to this multi-faceted role. A proven track record in financial management, program planning and implementation, facility management and supervision of staff in a unionized environment are essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent decision making, communications (including competency with business computer systems), goal setting/achievement and problem solving skills .
