Our client is one of the world’s largest not for profit private research centers in the field of forest research – supporting the industry in developing innovative solutions based on the unique attributes of Canadian forests, aiming for sustainable development and leveraging the industry’s scientific, technological and commercial capital.
Reporting to the VP HR based in Montreal, the Senior Human Resources Business Partner will provide full cycle strategic and tactical HR support to assigned client groups of 200+ employees located in BC and Quebec. The HR Business Partner will play an active leadership role in shaping the human resources function – with the objective of creating and implementing the HR strategic plan of modernizing the HR function and its service delivery across the organization. Responsibilities also include coaching and providing guidance to managers and employees at all levels on all HR related matters.
We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years HR experience as an HR leader with particular focus on change management. The proven ability to lead, drive and influence change in cooperation with head office; is essential to this role. MS Office and HRIS (Oracle) proficiency is required, bilingual (French) is ideal coupled with excellent communication skills in English.
