Our client has manufactures automatic control valves which are world renowned for their superior quality and reliability in the waterworks, industrial, building trade and irrigation markets.

Reporting to the VP Sales and Marketing, the Account Sales Manager will be responsible for performance managing a group of exclusive ‘dealer’ agents/representatives in the Western US (including Hawaii and Alaska) and in the UK to achieve sales and revenue targets. The ASM will also lend support in these markets and participate in sales/technical calls to key end users, engineers and waterworks distributors, will organize and conduct field training programs, and will participate in factory training sessions for representatives as well as operators and engineers. Attendance at relevant local/national and international trade shows and exhibitions is also part of the responsibility of the position.

We are seeking candidates who possess a completed post-secondary education in technology, civil or mechanical engineering coupled with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in industries involved in the practical application of fluid dynamics; waterworks, waste water management or oil & gas. Previous experience managing dealer-distributor networks would be a definite asset.

The Account Sales Manager would ideally work out of our client’s manufacturing facility in the metro Vancouver, BC, Canada area however consideration may be given to an experienced candidate working from a home based office within the Western US territory. Significant travel (up to 50%) will be expected in this role, including some weekend travel.
