Our client is a Canadian national leader in their segment of the construction business, providing services to residential, commercial and industrial customers as well as those in the insurance industry.
Based in Vancouver, the Business Development Manager will identify opportunities and generate sales revenue; working directly with prospective clients and existing accounts throughout BC, as well as maintain and enhance existing client relationships. Success in the role will be demonstrated by a high degree of sales activity; identifying, closing and managing key account opportunities. Participation in the development of sales and marketing initiatives, creating annual plans and reporting on account development and customer programs as well as recommending innovative solutions to enhance client services are all essential elements of the position.
We are seeking candidates with at least 5 years of field sales experience in a B2B environment – particularly experience selling service solutions would be ideal. A post secondary education is desired as well as working knowledge of building construction and restoration, mold and asbestos abatements and property insurance. Industry related certifications would be an asset. The successful candidate will possess a strong customer focus, confidence to adapt quickly to project and client needs and a demonstrated track record of delivering on business strategies and results.
