Reporting to the Vice President of Design and Construction, the Project Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the VP and to the Design and Construction team as well as supporting the coordination of projects with Operations and Business Development departments. Responsibilities will include project administration and information management; archiving project documentation using cloud based systems; organizing and scheduling meetings; creating and preparing weekly and monthly project presentations for the VP; coordinating with outside consultants on RFP’s, fee proposal compilation/analysis and for site inspections and site selection criteria; and assisting with CAPEX and OPEX project budget planning.
We are seeking candidates with a completed post-secondary education (degree preferred) and a minimum of 2 years related experience. Technical capabilities regarding building construction technologies would be an asset. Proficiency with MS Office Suite (including Excel and Powerpoint) is required and experience with Adobe Illustrator, Visio and Revit a plus. Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to independently identify and positively resolve issues with extraordinary follow through is essential to success in this high energy, creative and motivated team.
